The US school at the centre of the webcam spying scandal took images of a student "partially undressed and sleeping", according to court documents.

The allegations surround Harriton high school in Pennsylvania, which has been sued by student Blake Robbins, who claims the school spied on him in his home using the webcam on his laptop.

When the story first surfaced in February, the family claimed to "only have direct knowledge of one or two screen shots or webcam pictures taken of Blake". However, the case has now entered the discovery period, allowing Robbins' legal team to examine school computers, bringing new evidence to light.
