If you get the following error: 'Something went wrong' opening Word, Excel, Outlook etc in 2013 after installing the May 2014 updates, specifically KB2926765.
Running a 'Quick' and 'Full' fix in 'Programs and Features' fails. Also running the Microsoft FixIt Removal tool from here also fails.
You will also be getting these errors when renaming folders and files in windows explorer.
Applying the correct registry file in this download seems to solve the problem.
