If you want to send a Word document to someone in an email without giving the recipient the ability to modify your document you may want to send it as a PDF.


To do this open your document in Word.

Click 'File'

 

Click 'Share'

 

Click 'Email'

 

Clcik 'Send as PDF'

 

A blank email with then open with your PDF already attached.

 

Simply fill-in your recipient's email address, a subject and a message then click send as you would a normal email.
